Bar Varia is a great restaurant! Simple meals are mainly, but rich enough ～ [Taste] Bacon is very fresh, mushrooms are just right! [Environment] A bit noisy, but very fireworks ～

New menu was launched today (24.09.24). Lots of new choices. I had the beef tacos to start and they were just Devine. Got my usual for main - Dirty One burger which was delicious as always (some changes to it but still amazing!). They’ve changed the chicken, bacon and waffle syrup back to normal maple syrup (I believe they changed it for a bit and my son really didn’t like it) so my son was ecstatic and munched it right up! Staff were very knowledgeable about the new menu and made recommendations. We sat just off the wee bit that looks onto the beer garden. Server was lovely. As was the manager. Great for a nice family dinner.x

New Menu Is Fabulous

Very good food, service from Gina was spot on.  Environment was lovely, music not too loud. Salad items all fresh and tasty.  Definitely be back

Lovely lunch

Food was great and we had superb service from Gina and she went above and beyond making sure everything was tip top. Food was cooked to perfection and the plates were hot. Very warm and welcoming surround. Will recommend to friends and family.

Pleasant lunch experience

We have visited the Hillington restaurant for years and have always had a good experience however their new refurb has brought a great new buzz to the whole place. Our most recent visit was for our son&apos;s 6th birthday meal (his choice) and we couldn&apos;t fault a single thing. The food was great, great chice of menu, staff were amazing and couldn&apos;t have done more for us. Georgie is a true credit to their team. Despite a busy restaurant, all the staff made a special moment to serve our son&apos;s birthday cake which he was delighted with. We enjoyed everything about our visit. We&apos;re looking forward to our next visit when the new menu is available. Thanks again.

Excellent all round

Staff very chirpy and friendly. Food was good. Free salad bar return as many times as you like with good variety

Waited quite a while to be seen to upon arriving at restaurant and then once seated waited quite a while for our order to be taken.  Food did arrive quickly, vegetables were lukewarm.  Burger bun was burned black on the inside.  Starters of mushrooms and prawn cocktail were fine.  Salad bar was fine.

Great welcome when entering staff was very polite and helpful gave extreme service and food was totally delicious we certainly will be back Thank You

Nice hot perfectly cooked mains, well presented, served  by attentive staff. Lack of fruit and meringue in the generous Eton Mess which was disappointing in an otherwise enjoyable experience. It would not stop me going back.
